Virtual Pet Websites - The Big Decision
January 5th, 2008I’m sure that plenty of people have been exposed to either a virtual pet website OR a virtual pet website’s ad. Some of them sign up, but get bored of them, or they forget about the site. It’s a common situation for some people. For an unfortuante few, the fun stops when they get their accounts hacked. There are a few solutions to that.
1) Make your password as personal or difficult as possible, as long as YOU can remember it.
2) Be sure to LOG OUT when you leave the computer or know you’ll be inactive for a while. This is a common mistake made by inexperienced first-timers.
3) Never give out ANY account information to ANYONE! If someone asks for your password, you should report them onsite and block any communication with them(if possible)
Now, in addition to these problems, some people just don’t like the way the site is set up, but they really like the idea of having a virtual pet. Well then, I might be able to help you out. Here are a few tips to finding the pet site just right for you:
1) Think about your interests. Would you just wnt a dog, cat, horse? Or would you enjoy having a made up creature be your online companion? There are tons of sites that specialize. Narrow your search to what type of creature you’re looking for.
2) Look at the graphics. Sure, not every good site has good graphics, but at least you’ll know how much effort the team put into making the site.
3) Ask for recommendations. Talk to people you know and ask them about their preferences as well as the plots and systems of the sites.
Hopingyou all can make use of these tips,
